Sofia Frank, LCSW-R
Sofia helps young professionals and teens who are trying to find their way.
Sofia works with adults and teens struggling with eating disorders, anxiety and depression. Utilizing evidence-based modalities along with her psychodynamic orientation, Sofia works to help her patients not only gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, relationship patterns and behaviors, but also learn skills to more effectively cope with life’s stressors. With warmth and just the right amount of humor, Sofia helps her patients cultivate meaning and find joy amidst difficult experiences.
In the treatment of eating disorders, Sofia works from a HAES-informed perspective and utilizes Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) and Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. She provides Family-Based Treatment (Maudsley/FBT) to adolescents and their families.
